About us
ATG Access designs, manufactures, installs and services physical security solutions, including bollards, barriers, blockers and gates to protect critical national infrastructure and sensitive sites around the world from hostile vehicle or vehicle as a weapon terrorism.
We believe that physical security solutions should be accessible to all, forging a sense of place, without fear or vehicle borne threats, while enhancing the environments in which we work, play and live.
ATG Access boasts a vast portfolio of certified products, with automatic, manually retractable, fixed, removeable and shallow mounted applications tested to PAS 68, IWA-14, ASTM and DOS standards and approved to HCIS standards, designed to lend themselves to many environments.
We take a holistic approach to physical security, offering bespoke design, project management and electrical commissioning, technical consultation, project advice, aftersales and maintenance support, to ensure that a proportional solution is found.
Headquartered in the UK, and a part of Hill & Smith PLC, ATG Access, along with sister companies, collectively supply over 200 tested and certified physical security products worldwide. To be able to supply physical security products across the globe, ATG Access has established manufacturing facilities in the UAE, Singapore, and America in addition to the UK.

SP400 Auto 80 Bollard
The ATG Access SP400 Auto 80 Bollard is a high performing, aesthetically pleasing automatic bollard, impact rated to the internationally recognised IWA 14-1 certification.
Successfully withstanding impact from a 7,200kg (7.2 tonne) vehicle travelling at 80kph (50mph), this product achieved less than 1.5 meters of penetration, in a single-bollard configuration.
The SP400 Auto 80 Bollard has been designed with reliability and serviceability in mind. The inner bollard sits within an integral slide tube which then slides into the ground housing, facilitating easy and quick servicing regimes and straightforward installation.
Supplied with a grade 316 stainless-steel sleeve as standard, this product comes with the option of a direct LED lighting lid to increase visibility.
The bollard can operate as a large, secure access control scheme or a standalone system, and can cope with a high number of operations per hour - ideal for sites requiring maximum security and with a high traffic flow.
SP400 TT Automatic Bollard
Requiring a fraction of the depth that most rising security bollards need, the SP400 TT Automatic Bollard is unique and the shallowest automatic bollard to mitigate against the 7,500kg at 64kph threat level.
With a depth of just 900mm, the SP400 TT can be installed into areas where traditional depth automatic bollards aren’t feasible, such as sites where underground services or a lack of space can limit foundation depth. Able to cope with a high number of operations per hour, this bollard is ideal for locations with high traffic flow such as city centres.
Successfully tested to BSI PAS 68, the SP400 TT halted a 7,500kg (7.5 tonne) vehicle travelling at 64kph (40mph) achieving under a meter of penetration, making it an excellent option for protecting critical national infrastructure.
Equipped with a PLC control system as standard. Designed and built in-house by our engineering team, our control systems can be set up to meet whatever operational requirements clients may have.
SP400 SM 48, 64 & 80
The innovative design of our SP400 SM range revolutionises the supply and installation of shallow foundation bollards. These three shallow mount bollards, the SP400 SM 48, SP400 SM 64 and SP400 SM 80 all utilise the same shallow mount technology and look identical above surface.
SP400 SM 48: Successfully tested to IWA 14-1, arresting a 7,200kg (7.2 tonne) vehicle travelling 48kph (30mph).
SP400 SM 64@: Successfully tested to IWA 14-1, arresting a 7,200kg (7.2 tonne) vehicle travelling 64kph (40mph).
SP400 SM 80: Successfully tested to IWA 14-1, arresting at 7,200kg (7.2 tonne) vehicle travelling at 80kph (50mph).
With a foundation depth of 178mm, our SP400 SM range of bollards can be installed within areas that have limited available space, forgoing the need to redirect underground services and allowing quick installation.
Sporting a slim, uniform profile across the bollards, the SP400 SM range can be mixed and matched within a project, whilst looking aesthetically the same above ground.
SP400 Super Shallow Bollard
The latest addition to our extensive SP400 range of bollards, our SP400 Super Shallow Bollard, with a foundation depth on only 128mm.
Taking our shallow foundation technology to the next level, the SP400 Super Shallow, is just that, super shallow. Perfect for application in areas with a very limited available excavation depth, for those rare instances when even our regular shallow foundation bollards won’t do.
Successfully tested to IWA 14-1, arresting a 7,200kg (7.2 tonne) vehicle at 80kph (50mph), with minimal penetration.
The SP400 Super Shallow Bollard’s slim profile, allows for a multitude of aesthetic sleeve and street furniture options and can match the aesthetic of the other bollards within the range. This allows the use of multiple products together on one scheme, optimising a project’s physical security budget.
SP1200 Shallow Mount Bollard
The world’s strongest shallow foundation bollard. The SP1200 Shallow Mount Bollard is ideal for providing pedestrian permeable, perimeter protection for sites at risk of the highest velocity attack.
Successfully tested to IWA 14-1, arresting a 30,000kg (30 tonne) vehicle travelling at 80kph (50mph), achieving just 4 meters of penetration. The SP1200 is the worlds first and only shallow mount bollard to be tested to such a degree.
Utilising our specialist shallow-foundation design, the SP1200 Shallow Mount Bollard enables effective perimeter protection to be installed within urban environments.
The shallow-foundation units can be supplied in a multitude of shapes allowing bollards to be fitted around existing complexities within the urban realm and require minimal time and disruption to install.
The SP1200 Shallow Mount bollard is a force to be reckoned with and is ideal for application within high-profile and high-risk projects, that require additional physical security requirements.
